The "Reserva Familia" series is brewed in the "Apassimento style," where grapes are dried on the vine or on shelves for four weeks from the date of harvest. The aromas are like dark chocolate, black pepper, cherry, and toast, and you can feel the sweetness of fully ripe grapes. This is a premium Canadian wine that you can enjoy a rich flavor without losing its fruitiness. Winner of the Sakura Award 2024 Gold.
The dry wine made by Appassimento has a rich aroma like jam such as plums and cherries, a dense fruitiness like dried fruit, herbs, spices, coffee, and a slight bitterness of bitter chocolate. It also has a rich barrel aroma due to aging in oak barrels. The silky tannins from long aging bring a balanced mouthfeel.
