The firm acidity tightens the concentrated fruitiness, and the smooth mouthfeel of Pinot Noir and Merlot combines with deep, complex flavors. This red wine goes well with spicy meat dishes such as yakiniku and Chinese cuisine. Baco Noir, which is mainly grown in North America, is a hybrid grape variety with thick skin and a deep blue-black color. It was created by a French grape grower named François Baco in the late 19th century. It is a variety that is always very popular at tasting events. Winner of the Sakura Award 2024 Gold and 2025 Silver.
